- I founded Common Sense Solutions in 2008, providing consulting services in the areas of Climate Change, Housing Policy and Finance. Having spent the previous 25 years lobbying, doing research and leading the Minnesota Association of Realtors,I gained an enormously rich understanding of economics, management, education, demographics, and the public process. I love poetry, gardening, reading, fishing, working out and just being outside in the wide open spaces of the Minnesota woods. I do not suffer fools of any stripe and have always been a curmudgeon in the American tradition of H.L.Menchen and Mark Twain. Nothing gives my life more meaning than my children Aaron and Talia (Oren) and Leah and Chris. And I have been lucky in my life to have more friends than I deserve.
